Giardiasis

Giardiasis is an infectious disease caused by giardia, a parasite that parasitizes in the small intestine. It affects both adults and children. Infection occurs through the fecal-oral route when eating unwashed fruit, vegetables or contaminated food. Small children can become infected by licking dirty toys.

Symptoms of giardiasis
